Kyriacou signs for Ulster

Saracens hooker Andy Kyriacou, previously on loan at Munster, has ended an uncertain period in his career by signing for Ulster.

The 26-year-old, Irish-qualified, hooker was one of the unlucky Saracens players cast aside by the club's new South African owners.

"Ulster have an exciting young squad that really want to pick up some silverware. I want to do everything I possibly can for the team to help them achieve this," he said.

"I loved my short period in the Magners League. It is one of the most exciting leagues in the world.

"The rugby is fast and tough and there are no weak teams in there, which makes every fixture a massive test".
