Leinster coach Michael Cheika is backing his former skipper, Brian O'Driscoll, to lead the Lions on this summer's tour to South Africa.

Leinster coach Michael Cheika is backing his former skipper, Brian O'Driscoll, to lead the Lions on this summer's tour to South Africa.

O'Driscoll gave up the Leinster captaincy at the start of the season to concentrate on his international duties and duly led Ireland to a first Grand Slam in 61 years.
