Gaffney expecting more room to manoeuvre

Ireland backs coach Alan Gaffney expects his RBS 6 Nations title-chasers will have more space to manoeuvre against Scotland than in their defence-dominated win over England.

Declan Kidney’s side opened their campaign in expansive fashion, scoring eight tries in their wins over France and Italy, but England’s suffocating defence kept them to just one touchdown in their 14-13 victory at Croke Park.
