After losing to Samoa yesterday, the Irish side racked up four tries to secure a 24-21 win over the Aussies.

Gary Brown bagged the final try after a late substitute appearance.

An euphoria was tempered later however, when they were beaten 17-5 by a quick Portuguese side.
