England set for Argentina test

The away venue for England’s two-Test series against Argentina in June has been confirmed.

Martin Johnson’s side meet the Pumas at Old Trafford on Saturday, June 6, before travelling to South America the following week.

England will become the second touring Test side to play at the Padre Ernesto Martearena Stadium in Salta on Saturday, June 13.

In 2005, Italy lost 35-21 to Argentina in Salta, the eighth largest city in Argentina which is situated in the north west of the country near the Andes.
