South Africans deny interest in moving to Magners League

South African Rugby has today moved to quash rumours that it is interested in joining the Magners League.

Internet speculation had suggested the world champions were planning to withdraw its teams from the Super 14 and instead join the northern hemisphere competition.

SA Rugby acting managing director Andy Marinos today emphatically stated that they are committed to talks on expanding the SANZAR club tournament beyond 14 teams and have no interest in switching.
