Leinster flanker Shane Jennings will have his appeal against a three-match ban for striking Connact's Andrew Farley held by the Irish Rugby Football Union Disciplinary Panel on Thursday evening.

Jennings received a three-week suspension for smashing a right hook into the face of Farley in an attack from behind in a Magners League game.

The three man IRFU Appeal Committee will be chaired by Pat Barriscale, who will be assisted by Harry McKibbin and Robin Cole.

The findings of the disciplinary panel will be released following the completion of the hearing.
