Leamy knee knock to be assessed

Denis Leamy will see a specialist this afternoon to determine the seriousness of the knee injury he sustained in the win over the Scarlets on Friday night in Llanelli.

The Ireland back-row forward suffered the knee injury late in the second half of the game at Parc Y Stradey and is definitely ruled out of Munster's Heineken Cup back-to-back games with ASM Clermont-Auvergne.

For the moment, South African Justin Melck, who had originally been signed on a short-term contract as back row cover, will prolong his stay until the end of December.
