Quinlan appeal fails

Ireland’s appeal against the three-week suspension handed to flanker Alan Quinlan for stamping has been rejected.

Quinlan was given the ban for an incident involving All Black number eight Rodney So’oialo during the first half of last Saturday’s 22-3 defeat at Croke Park.
