Elsom may complete just one season at Leinster

It looks as though Wallaby Rocky Elsom could stay for a single season at Leinster.

He indicated that he will be back playing for Australia sooner rather than later.

"Regardless of the match last night I want to keep playing for Australia. That's something that I definitely want to do and the sooner the better on that front," he said.

Coach Robbie Deans remained upbeat about when Elsom will return to the Wallaby squad.

"We're hopeful it won't be a long absence. Certainly listening to him he's got a lot more rugby and a lot more to offer the Wallabies yet and he's still pretty keen to do that so I'm sure we'll see him back," he said.
