Van der Linde to miss first three Magner's League ties

South African prop CJ van der Linde's four-week ban for use of the head against Australia means he will not be available for Leinster's opening three matches in the Magner's League.

He will miss out on the away game at Cardiff Blues and the home matches against Edinburgh and The Ospreys. It is, therefore, likely, he will make his debut against Munster on Sunday, September 28th.

Rocky Elsom was suspended for one week manhandling South African lock Victor Matfield in the air at a lineout.

"It won't really affect Rocky. He would have had to play another Tri-Nations match on the 13th regardless. It'll affect CJ. He'll still arrive, but it will affect his play date, although I'd say there will be an appeal," said Cheika.
