Leamy out for five months

Munster and Ireland international Denis Leamy will be out of all action until at least November.

It means he will be absent from Munster's match with the All Blacks to open the brand new Thomond Park.

The hard-hitting Leamy has been forced to accept reconstructive surgery on his shoulder next Monday to correct an on-going problem.

He will also miss out on Ireland's November internationals and Munster's first two Heineken Cup ties and the early phase of the Magner's League.
