New Ireland rugby coach Declan Kidney has been named Philips Sports Manager of the Month for May.

The Munster supremo has been rewarded for guiding the province to their second Heineken Cup triumph with a 16-13 win over Toulouse at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
