Connacht rugby extend sponsorship deal

Powerade have extended their sponsorship of the Connacht rugby team for a further three years, beginning with the 2008/2009 season.

This sponsorship of Connacht Rugby will now be taken into its 11th year with this extension, something commercial manager Fiona Keys sees as of great benefit to rugby in Connacht, at all levels.

"I am delighted that Powerade have agreed to sponsor Connacht Rugby for a further three years", she said.

"We have enjoyed a very healthy relationship with Powerade and look forward to the next three years".
