Flannery appeals Six Nations ban

Ireland hooker Jerry Flannery today lodged an appeal against the suspension that has ruled him out of the entire RBS 6 Nations.

Flannery was last week struck with an eight-week ban for stamping on Julien Bonnaire during Munster's Heineken Cup defeat by Clermont Auvergne on January 13.
