The draw for the quarter finals of the AIB Cup was made at Stradbrook today following the third round tie between Blackrock and Cork Con which the Dublin side won by 14 - 10.

The draw for the quarter finals of the AIB Cup was made at Stradbrook today following the third round tie between Blackrock and Cork Con which the Dublin side won by 14 - 10.

The draw threw up a number of interesting ties with the holders Garryowen drawn away to Clontarf while the host club for the draw Blackrock earned themselves a home tie against near neighbours UCD.

Galwegians will be at home to either Malone or Bruff.

Shannon are away to the winners between St Mary's and Clonakilty.

The quarter-finals will be played on the weekend of the 2nd/3rd of February.

In the AIB Junior cup, holders Seapoint were drawn away to Tullamore following their win over Kinsale, while Westport emerged victorious from the all Connacht derby with Castlebar to face Clonmel in Tipperary.

Navan beat Armagh to earn a home tie against Clogher Valley.

In the final fixture, Sligo will be at home to either Kanturk or Crosshaven.

Galwegians V Malone or Bruff

St. Mary's College or Clonakilty V Shannon
