Brian O'Driscoll is due to be assessed by Leinster medical staff today as he bids to regain full fitness for the visit of Edinburgh to the RDS.

The Irish captain is battling to recover in time for Friday's Heineken Cup clash after picking up a foot injury against Munster last weekend.
