Ibanez cited

France captain Raphael Ibanez has been cited following an alleged stamping incident during last night’s World Cup bronze medal match defeat against Argentina at Parc des Princes.

Wasps hooker Ibanez has been reported by match citing commissioner Douglas Hunter.

He is alleged to have stamped on Argentina lock Rimas Alvarez Kairelis during the Pumas’ 34-10 victory.

A hearing will now be convened in Paris.
