Kellock's World Cup woe

Glasgow Warriors lock Alastair Kellock has revealed his frustration at missing out on Scotland’s World Cup squad.

Kellock, 26, took part in the national team’s summer training programme but was one of nine players who failed to make the cut when Frank Hadden announced his 30-man squad on Tuesday.

He said: “I was gutted to miss out on the World Cup because it was something I had been looking forward to for a long time.

“But I immediately turned my attentions to Glasgow and now I am completely focused on the club and how we can challenge for honours this season.”
