French ring changes for Marseille showdown

France have rung the changes in their 22-man squad for the World Cup warm-up match against England in Marseille on Saturday.

Veteran winger Christophe Dominici is back in the party, at the expense of Vincent Clerc, after missing the 21-15 win against the world champions at Twickenham last weekend in the first match of the double-header.

Elsewhere in the backs, centre David Marty is left out, meaning Damien Traille and Yannick Jauzion will form the midfield partnership.

In the forwards, Sale hooker Sebastien Bruno takes the place of Dimitri Szarzewski and Lionel Nallet returns instead of Sebastien Chabal, Bruno’s colleague at the Sharks and the match-winner against England last weekend.

Thierry Dusautoir and Imanol Harinordoquy are named among the four back-row forwards, meaning there are no places for Serge Betsen and Remy Martin.

The team for Saturday’s game will be announced on Friday afternoon.
