Gaffney and Jennings nominated for rugby awards
Leinster-bound Leicester Tiger Shane Jennings and former Munster coach Alan Gaffney have been nominated as the Guinness Premiership Player and Coach of the season, respectively.
Jennings will face stiff competition for the Award from his Welford Road team-mates Martin Corry and Martin Castrogiovanni, and Saracens' Glen Jackson and Roy Winters of Bristol.
The panel of judges consists of Andrew Baldock (Press Association), Mick Cleary (Daily Telegraph), Miles Harrison (SKY Sports), Alastair Hignell (BBC), Stephen Jones (The Sunday Times), Barry Newcombe (UK Media Sport), Dave Rogers (Getty Images) and Phil Winstanley, Rugby Manager at Premier Rugby.
