Brennan to appeal lifetime ban

Toulouse player Trevor Brennan has lodged an appeal against his lifetime ban imposed by the Independent Disciplinary Committee.

Toulouse player Trevor Brennan has lodged an appeal against his lifetime ban imposed by the Independent Disciplinary Committee.

The committee imposed the lifetime suspension from playing rugby union, a lifetime ban on Brennan from participating in any capacity in tournaments organised by ERC, a fine of €25,000 and €5,000 compensation to his victim Mr Bamford and the costs of convening the hearing.

A date for the Appeal to be heard, and the composition of the independent Appeal Committee, will be confirmed as soon as practicable.
