The Toulouse player is facing an ERC disciplinary hearing next month after being caught on camera punching the Ulster fan in the face.

He says he was provoked by verbal taunts.

The French Rugby Federation has imposed today's ban at the request of the International Rugby Board, which says it is "in the interests of the game".
