Boss confident of being fit for Six Nations

Ulster scrum half Isaac Boss should be fit for the beginning of Ireland's RBS Six Nations campaign next month.

An Ulster Branch statement confirmed today that he is suffering from "severe trauma to the AC joint in his right shoulder with extensive soft tissue damage and bruising."

It is difficult to pinpoint his recovery given the injury.

But, Ulster are confident he will be ready for the Six Nations even though he will miss their two Heineken Cup matches over the next two weeks.

The extended Irish squad for the Six Nations championship will be named next week.
