Three players with Guinness Premiership clubs have been cited for alleged dangerous tackles during league games last weekend.

Harlequins forward Chris Hala’Ufia, Bath prop David Flatman and London Irish hooker David Paice will all appear before Rugby Football Union disciplinary chiefs in London next Monday.

Tongan Hala’Ufia was reported for an alleged dangerous tackle on Northampton’s Luke Myring at the Twickenham Stoop last Saturday.

England international prop Flatman, meanwhile, faces a hearing after an incident involving London Irish fly-half Barry Everitt, and in the same game, Paice was charged with an alleged dangerous tackle on Bath number eight Zak Feaunati.

Paice received a yellow-card following the incident.

If found guilty, the players can realistically expect bans of three weeks or more, with the RFU particularly keen to clamp down on dangerous tackle incidents.
