Leinster announces new domestic game manager
Leinster Rugby have announced the appointment of David Ross to the newly created position of Provincial Domestic Game Manager in Leinster.
The IRFU and representatives from the four provinces agreed on the new position as a means of managing, implementing and driving all Branch strategic and annual operational plans in line with IRFU national policies.
Its creators hope the role will help revitalise the game throughout Leinster and the rest of the country.
Mr Ross has been the full-time club development manager in Leinster since his appointment in June 2004.
He has a commercial background with over 30 years experience at senior management level mostly in the Agri-trading area, as well as a number of years' involvement with club rugby as a player, director and club president.
He also served for two years on the Branch Executive Committee as a Club Representative.
