No surprises in Leinster line-up as D'Arcy wins 100th cap
Coach Michael Cheika pulled no surprises in his selection of the Leinster team to play Toulouse in the Heineken Cup quarter-final at Le Stadium Municipal tomorrow.
Centre Gordon D'Arcy will win his 100th cap for the province: “My first match was against Edinburgh in 1998 and I came on as a replacement for Denis (Hickie) and managed to score a try," he recalled.
"You have to remember that at that time I was just out of school around eight or nine weeks. So there was no talk of contracts or anything like that.
"I was invited by Mike Ruddock to come in and train and at no stage did I ever think that I’d make it to 100 caps for Leinster."
Brian O'Driscoll will lead Leinster into battle with a razor-sharp backline. Cameron Jowitt holds his place ahead of Eric Miller and there is a settled look to the squad.
