Thomond to be redeveloped as 26,000-capacity stadium

Thomond Park has been nominated as the best venue for the provision of a 26,000-capacity rugby stadium, the Munster Branch of the IRFU Development Committee said today.

A number of potential sites had been considered in the Limerick area.
