Frank Hadden’s revitalised Scotland lead RBS 6 Nations Championship favourites France at the midway point of their tournament opener at Murrayfield.

Sean Lamont crossed for his fourth international try in the 11th minute try after shrugging off Frederic Michalak’s weak tackle.

Chris Paterson added the conversion and two penalties before Jean-Baptiste Elissalde got France on the board on the stroke of half-time.
