Castaignede in French side

France coach Bernard Laporte has named Saracens utility player Thomas Castaignede in his line-up for Saturday’s Test match against Canada in Nantes.

Castaignede takes over from Julien Laharrague at full-back as one of seven chances Laporte has made to the team that defeated Australia 26-16 in Marseille at the weekend.

Hooker Dimitri Szarzewski, who faces a ban after being cited for an incident while playing for Stade Francais in a Heineken Cup match against Leicester, has been replaced by Sebastien Bruno.
