Garryowen maintain 100% record
Galwegians 3 Garryowen 8, Crowley Park
Munster fly half Paul Burke came off the bench to confirm Garryowen's 8-3 defeat of Galwegians at Crowley Park.
Burke, who missed Munster's defeat in Sale last week due to personal reasons, landed a 74th-minute penalty to maintain Garryowen's 100% start to the Division One season.
Full-back Brendan Bartley kicked 'Wegians into an early lead before Paul Neville dotted down Garryowen's try on 34 minutes from their only real incursion into the westerners' 22 in the first half.
Bartley was the home side's chosen kicker in the absence of John Cleary, who is rumoured to have left the Galwegians set-up.
Burke steadied the Limerick side's ship late on, but 'Wegians still squandered a try chance at the death when from a five-metre scrum, the ball squirted free and was cleared by the visitors.
