Dungannon 6 Clontarf 3

Clontarf lost for the second successive week as Gareth Steenson kicked Dungannon to a 6-3 success at Stevenson Park.

Steenson controlled matters from behind a 'Gannon pack which was served well by both Stuart Lamb and Stephen Ferris.

The win moves Jeremy Davidson's side up to tenth and was set up by two Steenson penalties in the first half.

'Tarf should have made better use of their wind advantage in the second half, but they could only muster a penalty from Peter O'Brien.

'Gannon full-back Stanley McDowell's relieving boot came in handy in the closing stages as 'Tarf attacked in vain.
