There is a possibility that Connacht assistant coach Eric Elwood may come out of retirement to rescue his province from an out-half crisis that threatens to undermine their chances of overturning Munster at The Sportsground next Saturday.

Regular number ten Paul Warwick is injured, Mark McHugh is sidelined long-term and the only remaining fly-half is David Slemen.
