Woodward seethes at Back ban

Lions head coach Sir Clive Woodward today issued a stinging rebuke to the Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel which handed Neil Back a four-week suspension for punching Joe Worsley in the Premiership Grand Final.

Back, who pleaded guilty to striking an opponent, will miss Monday’s Zurich Test against Argentina and the first three games of the Lions’ tour to New Zealand after today deciding against lodging an appeal.
