Scotland add new names to face Baa-Baas

Interim Scotland head coach Frank Hadden will blood two new players in the international game against the Barbarians on May 24.

Glasgow Warriors hooker Scott Lawson, 23, and 22-year-old back-row forward Kelly Brown from The Borders will play at Pittodrie.

Hadden has also named two further uncapped players on the bench – Glasgow pair Euan Murray and Andrew Wilson.

Hadden said: “Scott Lawson has quite clearly pushed Gordon Bulloch very hard for selection for Glasgow this season and he deserves this opportunity. I expect Dougie Hall will also be putting Scott under pressure.

“With Kelly it’s a similar scenario. He has really come on this season playing for The Borders and he also merits selection.”
