Brian Lima’s short stint at Munster has been brought to an end.

Samoa's leading try scorer joined the province for the knock out stages of Heineken Cup but sustained a quad muscle injury in the build up to the quarter-final with Biarritz.

The 32-year-old has since resumed training, but the Munster management have decided to let him return to his native land.
