David Marty has been called up as a replacement for Benoit Baby who has been banned from playing in France’s RBS 6 Nations match with Italy.

Marty, who plays for Perpignan, stands in for the 21-year-old Baby who made a try-scoring debut in the 26-19 win over Ireland but has been banned for four weeks for a headbutting offence involving Brian O’Driscoll.

Damien Traille of Biarritz has been added to the French bench while there has also been a change made in the forwards.

Hooker William Servat, like Baby a Toulouse player, returns to the bench in the place of Dimitri Szarzewski after missing the Ireland match.
