England prop Phil Vickery has broken his wrist during Gloucester’s dramatic 17-16 victory in the West Country derby against Bath in the Zurich premiership today.

This means he is out of England’s Six Nations Championship, and importantly will miss England’s next game against Ireland in Lansdowne Road.

Gloucester won courtesy of an 80th minute drop goal from Brad Davies.

England’s second-choice out-half Ollie Barkley didn’t feature today for Bath after failing a fitness test.

Barkley will go for a scan tomorrow but is a worry for the Ireland-England match next week.
