Flight delay stalls O'Driscoll, D'Arcy scans

Ireland were tonight waiting to discover the severity of the hamstring injuries suffered by Brian O’Driscoll and Gordon D’Arcy during the RBS 6 Nations clash with Italy.

The Leinster duo were scheduled to have scans shortly after arriving in Dublin this afternoon, but a delay to Ireland’s return flight from Rome meant they would not see a specialist until later on in the evening.
