England’s World Cup-winning captain Martin Johnson will bring his playing career to a close at the end of the season.

England’s World Cup-winning captain Martin Johnson will bring his playing career to a close at the end of the season.

Johnson won 84 England caps and quit Test rugby at the start of 2004, just two months after leading Clive Woodward’s team to World Cup glory Down Under.

The 34-year-old Leicester lock’s final match will be his testimonial at Twickenham on June 4.
