Munster prop Marcus Horan has been exonerated and vindicated in the tit-for-tat citing exchange that followed the Heineken Cup meeting of Munster and Neath-Swansea Ospreys at The Gnoll last Sunday week.

The Ospreys Richard Mustoe has been found guilty of "intentionally" kicking Horan. He has been suspended for 12 weeks. Mustoe has the right to appeal the decision.

The Independent Disciplinary Committee took into account mitigating factors, such as a clean record, the player admitting the infringement and that the incident was by way of retaliation for a previous, but less serious, incident.

The Committee could not find any concrete evidence to indicate that Horan was guilty of an alleged racist remark during the match. He was found not guilty.

The independent Disciplinary Committee, comprising of Chairman, Rod McKenzie(SRU), Robert Horner (RFU) and Bruce Reece-Russel (RFU), met in Dublin today.
