Munster flanker Alan Quinlan has been drafted into the Ireland squad for the three tests against South Africa, the USA and Argentina due to Victor Costello's rib injury.

Coach Eddie O'Sullivan has brought in the 30-year-old to cover for Costello, who suffered rib damage in Leinster's 30-11 Heineken Cup Pool 2 defeat of Bath on Saturday.
