Ulster's Mustchin out for up to two months
Ulster have been hit with the bad news that influential second row Matt Mustchin will be out for six to eight weeks with medial ligament damage, suffered in their Celtic League loss to Glasgow in Hughenden last Saturday.
Mustchin had a scan to ascertain the full extent of the injury and his right leg has been be put into a light cast to aid the healing process.
Of course, this has come at the worst possible time of the season.
Ulster are already low on confidence from a poor run of results in the Celtic League and they will meet the Cardiff Blues in their Heineken Cup opener at Ravenhill on Friday night.
