Former Ireland international Gary Longwell has been selected in an Ulster side that shows five changes from last week for the home tie with The Dragons on Friday evening.

Scrumhalf Kieran Campbell will start for the first time in the Celtic League and Paul Steinmetz will come into form a new partnership in the midfield with Kevin Maggs.

Tyrone Howe will replace Andrew Maxwell on the left wing.

Longwell, back from injury, and blindside Campbell Feather return to the pack.

ULSTER (v Dragons): B Cunningham; T Bowe, K Maggs, P Steinmetz, T Howe; D Humphreys (Capt), K Campbell; S Best, P Shields, R Moore, G Longwell, M McCullough, C Feather, N Best, R Wilson.

Replacements: N Brady, R McCormack, R Frost, M Mustchin, N Doak, P Wallace, J Bell.
