Munster will have to wait on a medical before confirming that they have signed Widnes rugby league star Paul Devlin.
The province is signing Devlin to boost their challenge for honours in the Celtic League and Heineken Cup.
23-year-old Devlin joined Widnes in 2002 and previously played with Sale Sharks in rugby union.
