Staunton makes Munster return
The Limerick Evening Echo reports that Munster fans will be reunited with former favourite Jeremy Staunton when he plays for his new side NEC Harlequins against Alan Gaffney’s team in their first Heineken Cup game of the season next October.
Furthermore, ex-Harlequins out-half Paul Burke has made the move to Munster.
Also in Munster’s group are familiar Celtic League opponents Neath/Swansea Ospreys and French side Castres Olympique.
“All pools in this competition are difficult,” said Gaffney.
“We are in a tough pool. We play Castres in round three in France in December. That will be a difficult game, especially with our Irish players coming back from international duty after being away for a month.”

Round 2: October 29-31 V Neath/Swansea Ospreys (away)
Round 3: December 3-5 V Castres Olympique (away)
