Payne voted Munster player of the season

Shaun Payne has been voted Munster Supporters Club's Player of the Season and Stephen Keogh has been selected as the Most Improved Player of the Season.

Shaun Payne has been been voted Munster Supporters Club's Player of the Season and Stephen Keogh has been selected as the Most Improved Player of the Season.

The voting in the Player of the Season category was extremely close with Shaun Payne just ahead of Paul O'Connell for the award.

Stephen Keogh was deemed the Most Improved Player of the Season title with Jerry Flannery and Eoin Reddan close behind.

It is planned the awards will be presented to Shaun Payne and Stephen Keogh at one of Munster's pre-season friendly matches in August.
