Injuries pile up for Connacht's clash with Munster
A mounting injury list has resulted in Connacht waiting until later in the week to name their side to play Munster at Thomond Park on Friday evening.
The end-of-season casualty list forced Connacht to play a winger at full-back, a hooker on the wing and a scrum-half on the other wing against Gwent Dragons last weekend.
Now Connacht face an anxious wait to see how many injuries clear up before they face Munster on Friday night.
Mark McHugh, David Hewitt and Darren Yapp are again all doubtful for this match having been forced to cry off the selected side just prior to the game against the Dragons.
Winger Ted Robinson, who had to go off injured in the second-half against the Dragons, faces a race against time while another winger, Wayne Munn, flanker John Muldoon and props Warren O¹Kelly and Ray Hogan are long-term casualties.
In addition, lock Damien Browne and utility back Justin Meagher may not be available for selection having picked up injuries at the weekend.
