Albanese extends Leeds stay
Diego Albanese has signed a new one-year contract with Leeds Tykes.
The Argentina World Cup winger, 29, will now stay at Headingley until 2005, with Leeds director of rugby Phil Davies pleased to keep hold of the former Gloucester player.
Davies said: “Diego has been a great player for us since arriving from Gloucester and has a wealth of experience that will be vital for us as we look to move onto the next level.
“The fact that he has achieved 55 Test caps is an incredible achievement and shows that Diego is a player of the highest calibre. I am delighted he has agreed a new contract with us.”
