Ireland have given Frankie Sheahan permission to play in Munster’s Celtic League clash with Neath-Swansea Ospreys tomorrow.

The hooker played almost 20 minutes of Ireland’s RBS 6 Nations victory over Wales last week but has been freed up to return to his province.

Sheahan will take his place in a side also including New Zealander Christian Cullen, who is poised to make his Munster debut in the game at Musgrave Park.

Three other Irish squad members – Ulster duo Simon Best and David Humphreys and Leinster’s Victor Costello – are also available for league action this weekend.

Leinster travel to Edinburgh tomorrow, while Ulster are at Gwent Dragons on Saturday.
